Marc Marquez set a record after winning the Australian MotoGP. He became the most successful Honda rider, passing Mick Doohan’s winning record.
When racing at Phillip Island, Sunday (10/27/2019) afternoon local time, Marquez drew a dramatic victory. He passed Maverick Vinales on the last lap, becoming the fastest in 27 laps with a 40 minute time of 43.729 seconds.
With this victory, Marquez has recorded 55 wins with Honda in the MotoGP event. He has one more victory than Doohan.

There have been 11 wins that Marquez has gotten in MotoGP in 2019. While in five races, the 26-year-old rider was listed as finishing runner-up.
