Sergey Kovalev Can Destroy Saul Canelo in One Punch
Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez turned out to be an ordinary human who had a fear of approaching Sergey Kovalev in a unification duel.
At least the feeling was voiced by coach Canelo ahead of the fight against Sergey Kovalev planned for November 2 in Las Vegas, United States.
Eddy Reynoso, Canelo’s coach, was afraid that Kovalev would destroy Canelo with just one lethal blow. If that happens, it will ruin Canelo’s ambitions to become world champions in four different divisions.
For the sake of his ambition to win the championship belt at the empas division, Canelo was willing to move up two classes in the Light Heavyweight which was in the Kovalev territory as WBO champion.
“Big boxers? Only those who leave their mark as boxers like this,” Eddy Reynoso, Canelo’s coach, told Sky Sports. “We know Kovalev well and we know the challenges we face. He is a great fighter,” he said.
Kovalev’s greatness made him have to turn on his vigilance. Especially the power of Kovalev’s blow that took many victims. “With one blow he can end the fight,” he warned. “We want Saul to master the four division championship belts,” he continued.
