The Argentine Welterweight Champion Santiago Ponzinibbio has been excluded from the UFC welter ranking due to his recent activity.
Santiago has joined the UFC in 2013, acquired a 9-2 record in the UFC. He has won 7 of his previous fights. His last fight was in November 2018 when he knocked out Neil Magny in the UFC Argentina.
Santiago Ponzinibbio was removed from the UFC rankings.
He is recovering from an injury and will return to the octagon in 2020.
He is still under contract with the UFC and I’m told his removal from the rankings is due to inactivity.

There are some more reasons that are involved in this rejection and one of these peoblems is a health problem. But he is still in the UFC and can debut in 2020 for this next fight.
Everybody likes to watch the UFC fight but Santiago’s fight didn’t get much attention or popularity in Latin America.
