Rumors about the future of Maverick Vinales with the Monster Energy Yamaha team finally stopped. This is inseparable from the decision of the Japanese manufacturer to renew the contract racer from Spain until 2022.
Vinales is listed as the first racer to draw ink to renew his contract this year. He also became the first driver to successfully secure his position in the MotoGP factory team until 2022.
The decision made by the Yamaha team cannot be separated from the achievement of Vinales while riding an M1 motorbike. Since being recruited from the Suzuki team in 2017, the Spaniard has collected the first six podiums.
