Robert Whittaker Handling “Family Business” Ahead of UFC Vegas 24

Robert Whittaker revels in joy after winning against Cannonier.

UFC World Middleweight Champ Robert Whittaker is known for his sharp jabs and fierce left hook. However, despite his profession being that of a warrior, he has always put family first. Robert has been married to his wife, Sofia for 14 years, and has three children for whom Lego blocks are more important than any championship belt.

The Reaper learned the importance of family at a young age after his parents separated. Robert and his brother moved in with their dad in the Sydney suburb of Menai. They lived in a housing commission unit and had to be raised by their father. All this taught Robert of keeping his family first and everything else second.

Having the support of his father from a young age provided Robert with the push he needed to succeed as a global superstar in combat sports. To this day he taps the very first tattoo after entering the octagon ring his father got him to show the love he has for his family.

Robert proved his commitment to his family by pulling out of his UFC fight with Paulo to donate bone marrow to his youngest daughter, who was sick. Therefore, for Robert Whittaker, the biggest joy of his life, is seeing his children’s smile after a hard day at work.
