Real Madrid reaped brilliant results when entertaining Levante in the fourth week of La Liga 2019/2020. Los Blancos beat Levante 3-2 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, Saturday (09/14/2019).
French striker Karim Benzema has rediscovered his safety this season. His goal-scoring instincts from the 2018/2019 campaign carried over to this season. The former Olympique Lyon opened Madrid’s victory with a goal in the 26th minute, using Dani Carvajal’s pass.
Benzema created a brace after maximizing James Rodriguez’s pass in the 31st minute. His header was unable to be driven by goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez. this is Benzema’s fourth goal in four La Liga games this season.

Last season, Benzema scored 30 goals. Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s death in Madrid, player number 9 has assumed the responsibility to replace his goal and now lead his team. Based on the year 2019, Benzema has scored 19 goals.

Entering the second half, Madrid was unable to add a goal. Instead, Levante took a bite back and managed to return two goals through Borja Mayoral who maximized Carlos Clerc’s assist in the 49th minute and Gonzalo Melero (75).

With this victory, Madrid moved up to second place in the 2019/2020 La Liga standings with eight points from four matches. Atletico Madrid, who have just played three matches, topped the table with nine points. The composition of players:
