It’s no secret that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s club needs additional new power on the front lines. Especially after two attackers, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez decided to move to Inter Milan.
Rumors regarding the closeness of MU with Mandzukic itself have been blowing for a long time. Last summer, the Croatian striker was reportedly close to the Red Devils. Unfortunately, the move never realized.
In this season alone, Mandzukic is no longer the first choice on the Juventus front line. The coach, Maurizio Sarri, prefers to use Gonzalo Higuain who in the previous season crossed the globe with AC Milan and Chelsea.
Verbal Agreement Reached?
After the European transfer market closed, a number of news linking Mandzukic with the Qatari club, Al Rayyan. The 33-year-old man was reported to have almost certainly moved to the club.
But in reality, his departure was never realized. The transfer market in Qatar itself has been closed and Mandzukic has to wait until January.
But at least, he doesn’t need to worry about his future. Because according to a report from Tuttosport, Mandzukic is said to have agreed verbally to join Manchester United in the transfer market next winter.
Solution for Front Line
Mandzukic might be a solution for the attack line of the Red Devils who were sluggish. So far, Marcus Rashford et al just recorded nine goals from eight matches that have been passed.
The most goals they scored came in the inaugural Premier League week, where Manchester United won a 4-0 victory over Chelsea. Since then, they have never scored more than one goal.
The negative impact has a big impact on their position in the current Premier League standings. MU was ranked 12th with 12 points. Even more pathetic, they were only able to win just two wins.
