ONE Century Results: Demetrious Johnson is crowned as Flyweight champion

Between Saturday and Sunday, ONE Championship held its 100th event in Tokyo, Japan with two billboards that included seven starting fights.

In Part 1, the former UFC, Demetrious Johnson, further expanded his legacy by crowning himself as the Featherweight champion of the promotion by imposing a unanimous decision on Filipino Danny Kingad in what was also the final of the division’s Grand Prix.

In the stellar fight, the Canadian of Chinese descent, Angela Lee, returned to the path of triumph and took revenge against Xiong Jingnam by submitting it to defend her Atom Weight crown.

In Part 2, Brazilian Bibiano Fernández submitted Kevin Belingon (20 – 7) with a mataleón to successfully defend his Peso Gallo belt.

In the central event, the only ONE double champion, Aung la Nsang, managed a technical knockout in the second round to defend his Semi-Complete belt against the full weight monarch, Brandon Vera.
