Trey Lance Reveals He Is Super Excited To Be a Part of San Francisco 49ers Org, Following 2021 NFL Draft

Trey Lance, one of the most promising quarterbacks of this year’s draft, was picked up by the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night. Playing for one of the storied franchises of the league is a dream that every quarterback has, and Lance is about to achieve that with the start of the upcoming season on the cards.

As the drafts were approaching, the young quarterbacks were the main cause of discussion. With players like Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence, and Mac Jones placed above Lance, analysts were worried that he would not find a franchise with the suitable infrastructure. However, it was quite the opposite as the 20-year-old was selected as the third overall pick.

After the day’s proceedings were over, the 49ers Twitter handle posted a video of Lance. In that video, he conveys his elation and excitement to play for this franchise. He said, “I am super excited to be a part of this organization and community. I will look forward to giving my best. Go Niners!”

The 49ers faithful will surely be looking forward to seeing him on the field. Drafting Trey Lance was not an easy feat by any stretch of the imagination. after his college opted out of a regular college season due to the pandemic, he could only play one game for them all season. Hence, the scouts were not able to see enough of him before the drafts.

However, Lance’s pro-day performance was up to the mark and he satisfied all the requirements for a prolific quarterback. Many legends of the game have also commented upon his superior technique and rocket arm. Moreover, he has great accuracy with his throws which is a factor that worked in his favor.

With the signing of Trey Lance, it can be said that the future of the San Francisco 49ers is in good hands.
