NFL Draft Rumors: Kyle Pitts Is ‘Explosive, Dynamic and Sure Handed’ as Potential Offensive TE, Remarks Field Yates

Kyle Pitts impresses Mel Kiper

Florida Gators’ Kyle Pitts is going to be one of the most intriguing tight end prospects in the history of the NFL draft. It is assumed that he will get picked in the early round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Florida’s Kyle Pitts is set to become the first tight end since 1970 to get drafted in the first round. ESPN’s NFL analyst, Field Yates sees a promising prospect in the former Gators’ tight end.

“He filled up the stat sheet and single-handedly ruined defensive game plans throughout the season covered or wide open,” Yates stated on Pitts’ abilities.

Nevertheless, the analyst believes that Pitts has a massive opportunity to join the top team in the upcoming drafts. With that in mind, Yates conveyed, “Explosive, dynamic and sure-handed Pitts has a chance to join the select group of NFL tight ends.”

College Football record of Kyle Pitts

Pitts just finished a heavy final season with the Florida Gators football team. The 20-year-old tight end played eight games during his junior year, where he caught 43 passes for 770 yards and completed 12 touchdowns. In addition to that, Pitts demonstrated a field-stretching speed of 17.9 yards per catch.

It has been seen that Pitts is a versatile player and has a special game-changing ability at the tight end position. Further, he played 20 games in total during his three years at Gators. Pitts ran 1,492 receiving yards, with an average of 14.9.

Florida enlisted Kyle Pitts at 6’6″ and 246 pounds, and he ran an unofficial 4.44-second 40-yard dash at the school’s pro days.

However, no prospect is ever guaranteed in the NFL draft until a team picks the player. But Pitts has a tremendous chance as he is the best pass-catcher in the 2021 draft.
