Quarterback Justin Fields to “Be a High Pick” in NFL Draft, Predicts ESPN’s Adam Schefter

The NFL draft is knocking at the door, and many teams have a clear shot to land Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields in the 2021 NFL Draft. Fields can change the narrative of the NFL draft on April 29 as he is the most favorite among all the quarterbacks.

The American football quarterback, had completed one of the greatest statistical seasons in Ohio State football’s history. He started playing with the Buckeyes in 2019 and ran 3,273 yards with 67.2 percent of passes. Besides, his 51 touchdowns consisting of 41 passing and ten rushing touchdowns were phenomenal.

None of the Ohio State quarterbacks could achieve such records as Justin Fields. As a result, he becomes one of the top quarterbacks of the 2021 NFL draft. With that note, ESPN’s analyst Adam Schefter discussed some facts about Fields and said, “He’s still going to be a high Pick.”

College football career of Justin Fields

Fields started his freshman season with Georgia in 2018, and initially, he served as backup to starting quarterback Jake Fromm. During the 2018 season, Fields appeared in 12 games and acquired 318 passing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and four passing touchdowns.

Later he joined Ohio State in 2019, and the rest is history. With Field’s help, Buckeyes reached the College Football Playoffs. In the 2019 season, he threw for 1,521 yards and 15 touchdowns to just five interceptions.

So far, the 22-year-old athlete completed 6240 career yards, 5273 passing, and 867 rushings, which made him the best quarterback talent the Ohio State Buckeyes ever had.

Now that Justin Fields is ready to kick off in the NFL, he becomes the hot pick of many teams. The teams and analysts already created some hype about Fields. Hence it is expected that he will surely make some buzz at the NFL draft. The 2021 NFL draft will begin on April 30 and ends on May 01, 2021.
