David Culley Reveals: Texans are very Committed To Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson

Since the Tampa Bay Buccanneers won the Super Bowl LV in February, the NFL offseason has been in full swing. Players are enjoying their time away from the field and away from the limelight. However, all the collegiate players are bubbling with excitement over their potential drafting into NFL sides. Names like Deshaun Watson and Kyle Pitts have already become crowd favorites because of the performances they have put in for their alma-mater.

Reports suggest that the Washington Football Team is now on the lookout for a young quarterback who can propel their team into the playoffs. Deshaun Watson fits the bill in every aspect. He has had a phenomenal season with the Houston Texans. WFT has reportedly shown interest in the 25-year-old and will look to sign him if the Texans decide to part ways with him.

However, NFL insider Ralph Vacchiano recently shared some information that might suggest otherwise.

Vacchiano reports that Texans are interested in keeping hold of Deshaun Watson:

NFL insider Ralph Vacchiano tweeted today that Houston Texans might still be interested in their star quarterback. He said, “So if I’ve got this right, new Texans coach David Culley said today that Deshaun Watson is only his QB “right now”. Then he later said the Texans are “very committed” to Watson, period. And then he said he didn’t know anything about Watson wanting to be traded.”

TV analyst Max Kellerman recently said, “No one is even speculating how Deshaun Watson is involved in all of this. The entire football world is paying attention to this. And they’re thinking, ‘Whoa, Texans messed this up with Deshaun Watson.’ There’s nothing he needs to say. The pressure is on the Texans management.”

New NFL season on the horizon:
