Liverpool entered in two nominations to win the annual award (Laureus World Sports Awards 2020) in Berlin, 17 February. The two nominations are the best team and the best comeback in 2019.

Quoted from the official website of Laureus, Friday (17/1), Liverpool entered the list of the best teams this year after winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup. Besides, the Reds are unbeaten for almost 12 months in the Premier League in 2019.

Liverpool will compete for the award against the South African men’s rugby team, the Toronto Raptors, the US Women’s World Cup team, the Spanish men’s basketball team, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team F1.
