“We’re Doing a Good Job of Putting Pressure” Bradley Beal Lauds Wizards Efforts in Competing With Other Teams

The Washington Wizards’ form this season has been abysmal, to say the least. Even though players like Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal have found their form, the performances have not improved. However, in their game against the Sacramento Kings, the Wizards came alive and annihilated the opposition.

Beal and Westbrook were again at the helm of this victory. Their sterling efforts were appreciated by coaches and teammates alike. In the post-game press conference, Bradley Beal talked about how the players are finally coming together as a team.

He said, “We have got 17 or 18 games left now and it’s time to push on. We know that the responsibility falls on Russ and me. He has been playing exceptionally well since the all-star break. I’m finally getting my rhythm back, However, we had a horrible fourth quarter tonight.”

He continued, “We are doing a very good job of constantly pushing and keeping the pressure on teams. As long as we’re healthy and we love what we do every night, we should be okay here.”

SACRAMENTO, CA – APRIL 14: Bradley Beal #3 of the Washington Wizards drives to the basket against the Sacramento Kings

“He’s the elite at attacking,” Wizards coach Scott Brooks said. “It’s extraordinary and he brings it every night. The people that criticize him, the analytics guys, they obviously don’t play the game or understand the game. I love how he plays.”

He finished with  25 points, 11 assists, and 15 rebounds for his sixth consecutive triple-double. Apart from him, Bradley Beal scored 31 points for the side. Moreover, he also racked up four rebounds and three assists during the game.

The Washington Wizards are 12th in the Eastern Conference standings. At the moment, the chances of their qualification look exceptionally slim. However, with Westbrook and Beal in their top form, miracles can take place anytime.
