The 22-year-old Trae Young controlled both the offense and defense of the Hawks and led his team from the front. In the post-game press conference, he talked about how they managed to cope with the pressure.
He said, “I just kept fighting. Our team just kept fighting. No matter how much we were down, we just kept chipping away. Zach had a hell of a first-half, he had a hell-off a game, but we weathered the storm. It is very hard to stop great players, you can only hope to contain them. That is what we did tonight.”
