Watch: Stephen Curry Hit 11 Three-Pointers in First Three Quarter To Set a New 10+ Threes Streak Milestone

Stephen Curry

For the last two games, Stephen Curry has lit up the NBA with his unnatural shooting ability. Whenever he is in this sort of form, everything he touches turns to gold. That is exactly what happened with the Golden State Warriors as they steamrolled the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

After a 53-point game against the Denver Nuggets, Curry started where he left off in this match. The OKC were dumbfounded by the level of shot making  on display and could not soak up the pressure.

After becoming the greatest scorer in the history of the Dubs, Chef Curry wanted to break the 3-point record too in this game. In fact, coach Steve Kerr had to stop him from going back out on the court in the fourth quarter.

In the post-game press conference, Kerr praised his star guard. He said, “I’m still in awe of the shotmaking. It’s just incredible. The level of confidence and skill is just stunning. It’s beautiful to watch. It’s a man at the peak of his powers with a lifetime of training and work — not just on his body, but on his mind.

He continued, “This is a guy who, he’s functioning at a level that very few human beings have ever functioned at in their particular field.”

Stephen Curry and the Warriors back to winning ways

It was the Stephen Curry showing this game for the three quarters he played. There were great performances from his teammates too. However, Curry dominated the game as well as the highlight reel.

The Golden State Warriors are ninth in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are not in contention for the playoff spots. However, they have a three-game winning streak and will try to build upon that.
