Watch: Luka Doncic Make an Insane Off-Balance 3 Point Buzzer Beater To Pull Off a Miracle Victory Over Grizzlies

Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic weaved his magic on the court once again as the Dallas Mavericks walked away with the victory. It was a close game that Doncic and his teammates managed to escape by the skin of their teeth. In fact, it required an outrageous three-pointer from the 22-year-old to seal the game for the Mavs.

With the Grizzlies leading by two points in a tightly poised game, the responsibility fell upon Doncic to do something out of the ordinary. He did so by shooting an off-balance shot from downtown while he was falling down. Somehow, the shot went in and the Mavericks were handed the unlikeliest of victories.

In the post-game press conference, Luka Doncic talked about the game-winning shot. He said, “I was really surprised when it went in. Those are the best feelings ever. Sometimes you’re going to make it, but sometimes you’re going to miss it, too. You’ve got to take that. I think that’s the most important part. If my team trusts me at that moment, I’ll keep working on it.”

It was a game where it was impossible to guess the winner. Both teams were going at it and wanted to win the game. There were defensive frailties on both ends of the court. However, both sides looked keen to score more than the other.

Luka Doncic was the pick of the lot as he finished with 29 points to his name. Moreover, he racked up nine assists and five rebounds for his side through the game. Apart from him, Kristaps Porzingis continued his hot streak as he scored 21 points and six rebounds in the match.

After the game, coach Rick Carlisle was elated with his team’s performance. He said, “It certainly was quite a game. A lot of ups and downs. The last play was amazing. You look at the last minute or so. In those situations, you pull off a miracle in a game like that once in a blue moon. It just doesn’t happen very often.”

The Dallas Mavericks are seventh in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are well in contention for the playoffs. Moreover, with Doncic and Porzingis finding their form, coach Rick Carlisle and his men will be confident about the postseason.
