“That Just Shows the Ability of Our Team” Westbrook Satisfied With “Triple-Double” After Snapping Jazz’s 24 Home-Winning Streak

Russell Westbrook scored his 16th triple-double of the season.

The NBA triple-doubles leader, Russell Westbrook, led the incandescent Washington Wizards throughout the season and continues to elevate the home winning streak.

Westbrook appeared in a post-game interview after the Wizards defeated the Utah Jazz by 125-121. Westbrook seemed thrilled about the winning streak as he said, “just shows the ability of our team, and we’ll be able to do every night at night out man.”

Further, he is happy to be teamed up with some amazing players. “I’m just happy that we got a fun group of guys in this locker room we’re gonna keep fighting.”

Wizards have not been doing well in their away games and are almost sinking in the Eastern Conference. Hence their payoff opportunity is almost dimmed. Winning the rest of the games might lighten up some hope for the postseason.

The 32-years-old Wizards star played a tremendous game last night and scored 25 points with 14 rebounds and 14 assists. Besides, he also had one stream on Monday night.

The Wizards are having a lousy campaign and lost all the possibilities to appear in the postseason. However, Russell is on the race to become an MVP contender as he has been leading the NBA’s triple-down in 2021.

With the last night’s triple-double, Russel recorded his fifth consecutive triple-double. Besides, the point guard’s performance was much better than his previous five games.

This season Westbrook is averaging 21.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 10.8 assists, which is good enough to crown the MVP. Getting an MVP without playing postseason will be historical for Russell.
