Bradley Beal finding his feet with the Washington Wizards

Despite playing with the NBA’s leading scorer this season, The Washington Wizards have not reached the heights they were expected to. After signing Russell Westbrook from the Houston Rockets, critics and analysts expected the Wizards to become a championship-contending side.

However, the Wizards might finally be starting to get back to winning ways. They defeated the high-flying Utah Jazz on Thursday evening. The iconic duo of Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook finally clicked as they took the game away from the Jazz over the course of four quarters.

Beal continued on his hot-streak of high-scores. He finished with 43 points and five assists for his side. However, the match-winner was Russell Westbrook. He got his 13th triple-double of the season, scoring 35 points. He also ended up with 13 assists and 15 rebounds in the 131-122 victory over the Jazz.

The Washington Wizards are 13th in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are not in contention for the playoffs, and the chances of their qualification look slim. However, with the presence of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal in their squad, they will look forward to winning as many games as possible from here on out.
