Steve Kerr Has No Clue of “What’s Going to Happen” During the Trade Deadline for the Golden State Warriors

After a few days of rest, the second half of the 2020-21 NBA season has begun. The Golden State Warriors will be looking forward to making a push to claim a playoff spot in the next few months.

However, they did not have the best of starts post-All-Star break. In their first game of the second half against the LA Clippers, the Dubs were completely dominated. As a result, they slipped down to the tenth spot in the West.

Furthermore, they now have a record of 19-19. This is not bad, but considering the competition in the league, they need to re-evaluate a few things. Speaking of re-evaluating things, the NBA trade deadline is approaching soon.

For this season, the league decided that March 25th will be the last date when trades can take place between teams.

Although the Warriors have a good team right now, they have failed to maximize their potential. As a result, it won’t be a surprise if the team adds a new piece to the roster around the trade deadline.

Their head coach Steve Kerr revealed his thoughts about the same in a recent interview. He said:

“I have no idea what’s going to happen at the trade deadline. I do know there hasn’t been any talk at all in terms of anything that [general manager] Bob [Myers] has brought to me. If Bob and his group have been talking to teams that would be pretty routine, but you never know what’s going to happen.”
