After a match that saw tempers from Paul George and CP3, the Phoenix Suns emerged as the victors against the Clippers. Subsequently, this game had everything, tremendous quality on show, mutual animosity, and sheer intensity in the atmosphere towards the end.

Both sides were trying to outsmart the other with elaborate plays. After the game ended, a camera grab further showed Chris Paul and Paul George avoid shaking hands with each other. This clip gained traction on social media and left the fans thinking about a possible feud brewing between the two.

However, there have been no reports about the matter escalating any further. CP3 and Paul George are both veterans in the league with approximately the same skill set. Both the players have lit up the NBA for several years now with their skills and incredible shotmaking.

In the game on Wednesday night, both the players faced off against each other. Ultimately it was Paul’s side that emerged as the victor of the tie. It was a great game to watch because of the build-up that surrounded the tie.

Chris Paul was the top scorer for the Suns with 28 points to his name. Moreover, he also racked up 10 assists and three rebounds during the game. Apart from him, Devin Booker played a great second-fiddle as he finished with 21 points in the match.

“He controls the whole game,” Lue said about Paul. “He plays at his own pace, he gets guys involved, he knows where everybody is at. That is what a true point guard does and he did it tonight.”
