NBA Analyst Brian Windhorst thinks Kyle Lowry is going to “get traded on his birthday”

Over the course of the last month or so, there have been numerous rumors about Kyle Lowry getting traded from the Toronto Raptors by the NBA trade deadline. With the trade deadline officially commenced, many are anticipating for the trade news about Lowry.

While being traded is one thing, today is a special day for the Raptors’ star. He turned 35-years-old today but it could be his last birthday at Toronto. In fact, NBA insider Brian Windhorst focused on this in a recent video. Windhorst said:

The teams interested in [Kyle] Lowry are Miami [Heat] and Philly [Philadelphia 76ers]. Those are the teams trying to win the championship this year or next, trading for a 35-year-old player. In fact, … he’s probably going to get traded on his birthday.”

Will Lowry be traded today or not? That remains one of the biggest questions on the NBA trade deadline. As for the answer to the question, we will know it pretty soon.

Can Kyle Lowry help a team win an NBA Championship?

With Lowry turning 35, he is heading towards the end of his career. Keeping that in mind, the Raptors’ star has a lot of experience under his belt and this experience is something crucial for any contending team.

Miami and Philly have emerged as potential places for him and both teams aspire to win the 2021 NBA Championship.Following that, Lowry is a player that might aid the mentioned teams.

Apart from the veteran experience, Kyle has the knack to hit big-time shots. He has done that on numerous occasions for the Raptors and if he gets traded that skill will help him in bolstering his future team.
