‘My Stepfather Trained Me To Be a PG’ Zion Williamson Credits Stepdad for Having Impressive PG Stats Over 76ers

Zion Williamson

For two seasons now, Zion Williamson has been the hottest new talent in the NBA. The 6’7″ ominous figure has struck fear into the hearts of opposition defenses and is showing no signs of relent. He showed yet another glimpse of his ability against the Philadephia 76ers on Friday night.

The 20-year-old carried his team over the line against high-flying 76ers. Moreover, he was supported by all his teammates and that resulted in a resounding victory for the New Orleans Pelicans. In the post-game press conference, he talked about how his stepfather helped in moulding his game.

He said, “Firstly, I wanna thank my coaches and my teammates for trusting me to be me. Secondly, I say this all the time, my stepfather trained me to be a point guard. So that was just normal. It was just an opportunity for me to go out and show it.”
