Montrezl Harrell Reacts ‘My Beef Was With Anybody Who Wasn’t Wearing a White Jersey’ After Ejection Against Raptors

Montrezl Harrell

Montrezl Harrell has led the Lakers to the best of his abilities in the absence of LeBron James and AD. However, his emotions got the better of him in the game against the Toronto Raptors. Harrell was involved in a vicious altercation with Raptors’ OG Anunoby.

They both broke into a fight near the end of the first quarter when Dennis Schroder fouled Anunoby. Other players had to step in to separate them. However, Harrell and Anunoby were ejected after a video review of the incident.

In the post-game press conference, Montrezl Harrell was asked to speak about the episode. He took no prisoners while talking about the conflict. He said, “My beef is with anybody who doesn’t have on a Lakers Jersey.” This statement showed how much he loves the franchise that he plays for.

The Lakers march on to a victory even without Montrezl Harrell

After an embarrassing loss against the LA Clippers, the Lakers came out all guns blazing in this match. Right from the first quarter, they were looking to take the game to the opposition and cause problems for the Raptors’ defense.

In fact, their shooting was exemplary in this game as they made 18 three-pointers across the four quarters. They took a handy lead in the first two quarters and never took their foot off the pedal. Coach Frank Vogel was pleased with this performance. He said, “We came out with an angry, nasty defensive disposition. We had high-quality shots, didn’t settle for mid-range, and as a result, we hit a high percentage (45%),”

Marc Gasol
