The NBA deadline is fast approaching. After 25th March, no team will be able to acquire or sell players till the NBA Finals. This trade window has already seen many star players change their franchises. In a recent press conference, LeBron James was asked to speak about the same.

The Los Angeles Lakers routed the Golden State Warriors in a 128-97 on Monday night. In the post-game press conference, LeBron James admitted that he does not “know what is going on behind closed doors”

The Brooklyn Nets are undoubtedly the team that has reaped the greatest benefits of this trade window. They brought in star point guard James Harden from the Houston Rockets in January. Moreover, they also brought former All-Star Blake Griffin from the Detroit Pistons to strengthen their title charge.

LeBron James talks about possible trade targets

In the post-game press conference, James talked about potential new signings in the final days before the deadline. He said, “I have no idea what to expect. I won’t speak about other franchises. All I can do right now is worry about what we do on a day-to-day basis. We love what we have going on here.”

He continued, “Obviously everyone is looking to get better. We’ll see what happens but other than that, I’m not thinking about it. My mindset is fixed on our next game.”

The Lakers cruised to the victory against the Warriors with match-winning performances from Montrezl Harrell and LeBron James. “King James” got yet another triple-double to his name in this game. He scored 22 points, had 11 assists, and racked up 10 rebounds during the course of this match.

Later, Stephen Curry and Warriors coach Steve Kerr both admitted that it was an abysmal performance from the Warriors which was filled with mistakes.

The LA Lakers are third in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are in contention for the playoff spots. With AD likely to return in a couple of weeks, the Lakers will look forward to qualifying for the playoffs and defend their title.
