LeBron James Praises the Ball Brothers, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball Stating “ Two Just Very Unique Players in Our League”

LaMelo Ball and Lonzo Ball were praised by NBA veteran LeBron James

LeBron James has garnered a huge reputation over the years. His comments hold massive importance in the world of Basketball. So when he praises two young players, the attention of the entire league falls upon them. That is exactly what has happened with Lonzo and LaMelo Ball when “King James” praised them in the post-game press conference.

After the win against the Charlotte Hornets, James talked about the performance of rookie LaMelo Ball and his elder brother, Lonzo, this season. He said, “they are two of the most unique players in our league and they showcase that every night.”

LeBron James played with Lonzo Ball in the 2018-19 season with the Lakers. He has good memories of playing with the 25-year-old as they both recorded a triple-double on the same night in 2018 against Charlotte Hornets.

The 4-time MVP winner played for the first time against rookie LaMelo Ball in the game on Thursday. After the match ended, he was asked to speak about the 19-year-old. He said, “I think he’s damn good to be his age. His speed, his quickness are really good. LaMelo’s ability to make shots at all facets including the paint is amazing.”

He continued, “Ball already has a wide range of shots like floaters and threes. I think he has a three-tier already. He is only going to get better. Every game is a learning experience for him. He will only get better as the season progresses and his career progresses.”

Young LaMelo Ball is on track to receive the rookie of the year award. In fact, he is at the top of the KIA Rookie Ladder, ahead of the likes of Tyrese Haliburton and Anthony Edwards. He is averaging 15.8 points per game this season along with 6.3 assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers are second in the Western Conference standings and look on course for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets are also on their way to the playoffs after many seasons. They are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference standings.
