LeBron James condolences the victim families and Asian communities following the shooting incident at Atlanta Aromatherapy

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has conveyed his condolences towards the Atlanta massage parlor shooting victims. At least eight people have been killed in a separate shooting at three massage parlors in the metro-Atlanta area on Tuesday night.

At least two were also injured in that brutal shooting. Out of the eight, at least six of those were Asian women. However, the majority of the employees who work in spa centers are typically Asian. The first shoot took place at Young’s Asian Massage Parlor located on Georgia Highway 92 in Cherokee County, north of Atlanta. Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported four people were killed in the first shooting.

However, the second shooting took place at the Gold Spa in the northeast part of the city, and three women were dead. The police found the body of another woman across the street at Aromatherapy Spa.

LeBron James condolences the victim families

Following the shooting, LeBron James posted a tweet with a grieving heart to show his condolences to the Asian communities. The Akron Hammer reacted with dismay and indignation. “My condolences goes out to the families of all the victims and the entire Asian community tonight on what transpired in Atlanta at the Aromatherapy Spa. Coward a** young man!! Just senseless and tragic!!” he wrote.

The suspect has been found after a manhunt in 150 miles south of Atlanta. The identified suspect was Twenty-one-year-old Robert Aaron Long. Later he was charged with murder in connection to the shootings. “It does appear that it’s the same suspect,” Captain Jay Baker of the Cherokee sheriff’s office told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Baker confirmed that the suspect was seen on all the shooting spots, and investigators are confident he is the same suspect who was involved in the massacre.

Although investigators are not clear yet whether there is a racial motivation in the shooting, further investigations will bring out the truth.
