“Learn From the Great Players Ahead of Me” Kyle Kuzma Reveals Why He Wants To Play in NBA and the Lakers

All the young players in the NBA strive to learn new tricks about how to survive in the league. Kyle Kuzma learns them from one of the best in the business, LeBron James. The LA Lakers have formed a team that is the perfect amalgamation of experience and heart. This helps the young players in learning from the best and using those skills in the game.

With LeBron and AD injured sidelined for a while, the responsibility fell on the shoulders of the youngsters. Till now, they have lived up to their end of the bargain by producing scintillating performances in every game.

This was evident in the game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. The Lakers fought hard and ultimately came out with the win. In the post-game press conference, Kyle Kuzma reiterated the fact that he gets to learn the tricks of the trade from the best in the business.

He said, “I put in a lot of work on this game. I love this game. I’m always in the gym… I just had to get the mechanics right and keep letting it fly. That’s why I want to be here, so I can continue to learn from the great players ahead of me.”

The 25-year-old was the pick of the players as he went on to score 30 points for his side in this game. In fact, he also racked up five rebounds during the course of this game. Apart from Kuzma, Dennis Schroder also contributed heavily to the victory.

The German International scored 17 points and assisted eight times to his teammates. Alex Caruso and Markieff Morris came off the bench to add some dynamism to the Lakers’ offense in the latter stages of the game.

The LA Lakers are fourth in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are well in contention for the playoff spots and are breathing down the necks of their city rivals, the LA Clippers.
