Zion Williamson continued his recent dominant form by scoring 38 points against Dallas Mavericks. Williamson’s outstanding performance helped New Orleans Pelicans score 112 points and eventually win Saturday night’s game.
Williamson’s performance one night earlier was also impressive. Although the Pelicans lost the game, everyone applauded Williamson for scoring career-high 39 points. And New Orleans power forward carried on his red-hot form in the following game too.
Former NBA player Kendrick Perkins praised Zanos in his tweet and wrote, “Let me take moment to recognize the young Superstar Zion Williamson.”

Perkins also explained why the 20-year-old has become phenomenal lately. “Ever since Stan moved him to the point forward he’s been killing everyone in his path finishing tonight with a 38 piece fried fish basket baby in my New Orleans voice,” Perkins continued.
Saturday’s NBA games were Williamson’s second consecutive game with at least 35 points, five assists, and five rebounds. He became the second player in franchise history to pull that off in back-to-back games.

Recent performance from Zion Williamson
Former Duke star has been tremendously dominant in recent games. He scored at least 30 points in three of his last four games and scored more than 35 in the last two games. Besides, he has a steady performance in 23 games in a row and scored at least 23 points in these 23 games.
His performance got a boost as soon as he moved to point forward from the power forward. In the 2020-21 regular season, Williamson played 32.8 minutes on an average and scored 26 points.
In 44 games this 2020-21 season, Zion Williamson has been putting 3.5 assists which are above his 2.1 in 2019-20.
The way Zion Williamson is performing right now, if he can continue this, the Pelicans will have a great chance to make the playoffs. As for the Pelicans, they have compiled 20 wins out of 45 games and stand at 12 on the table. A steady winning streak is needed to reach the playoffs.
