We have all seen that when NBA players enter the arena, they have headphones nestled perfectly on their head. Players usually listen to their favorite track while getting ready for a game. Kevin Durant revealed that he gets energy listening to Drake and Little Baby on repeat before every game.

At 32, KD is one of the most experienced players in the league averaging 27.4 points with seven rebounds and 3.7 assists. Recently he appeared on ‘MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME’ podcast, hosted by rapper Gillie Da King and Wallo267. Durant talked about his music taste and his locker room playlist.

Durant briefly discussed the timeline of his playlist since he joined the NBA. When he started his journey in 2007, Durant used o listed Lil Wayne. “Wayne was the guy, 2002-2012 Wayne taken over the lead. They came in Drake, Niki Minaj and Drake took over,” Durant conveyed.

However, in another interview in 2013, KD said that he liked to listen to, “Big Boi (“Shoes For Running”), Young Jeezy (“R.I.P.”) and Beyonce (“Diva”).”

Further, in the ‘MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME’ podcast Durant talked about his current playlist in the locker room. “When I go to the locker room, it’s mainly Lil Baby, everyone in our team is like Lil Baby is the best rapper out. I am the one who keeps loving Drake. I drop a joint together, those two right now taking over,” Durant stated about his current playlist.

It should be no surprise that rap and hip-hop dominates the NBA locker room. But Durant emphasizes rap over hip-hop and he gets power listening to Lil Baby and Drake.
