In one of the best and most entertaining of games this season, the Boston Celtics emerged as the victors. Both the teams had their star players fight valiantly on the court. Ultimately, it was Jayson Tatum and the Celtics who were able to curb the threat Stephen Curry posed.

Ever since the first quarter, the game was all about Steph Curry vs Jayson Tatum. Although the  veteran tried to rescue the game, a relatively new star was fighting tooth and nail alongside him.

In the post-game press conference, 23-year-old Tatum talked about how his team approached the game. He said, “It was tough. However, it was a collective effort. Marcus Smart did a hell of a job. Curry is always gonna hit tough shots. You just have to make it as hard as you possibly can for him.”

Jayson Tatum was the star of the show for the Boston outfit as he finished with 44 points to his name. Moreover, he also racked up 10 rebounds and three assists when his side needed them the most. Fighting alongside was Kemba Walker who too added a word of praise for Tatum.

“He’s incredible,” Walker said about Tatum. “He can score with the best of them. He’s making the right plays out there. He was unbelievable. We needed every bucket he had tonight.”

Boston Celtics jump to fourth in the Eastern Conference standings. At the moment, they are well in contention for the playoffs. Moreover, they have a six-game winning streak in hand. Thus, they will look forward to building upon that in the postseason.
