Ivica Zubac Denies His Fellow Clippers Teammate Paul George Claiming He Can’t Shoot the Ball, Quotes “I Really Can”

Los Angeles Clippers' Ivica Zubac #40 dunks the ball against the Dallas Mavericks during the first half of an NBA basketball first round playoff game

Ivica Zubac has been working on his 3-point shots for the past few months. Referring to that his fellow teammate Paul George claimed that he cannot shot the ball, but Zubac protested on PG’s claim.

Although Zubac has been playing with the Los Angeles Clippers for the last two years, he has been going through a tough time this season. Zubac has played 58 games this season and scored 8.9 points on average, which is really unremarkable compared to another player.

However, Ivica played pretty well last night against Minnesota Timberwolves. The 24-year-old center scored 13 points with six rebounds and one assist in his 22 minutes of playing. Comparing to Zubac’s other performances, last night was excellent.

It seems Ivica Zubac got back his confidence as he protested Paul George’s claim. Previously PG complained that Zubac’s contribution to the team is minimal and he cannot shoot properly.

After tonight’s performance, Zubac fired back to Paul George’s claim. He said, “I know PG said I can’t shoot it, but I really can.” Further, Zubac’s average shooting percentage is 72.5 from the field.

Zubac’s 13 points which include a dunk helped the Clippers to win by 124-105. The Clippers center has never been much of a scoring person, but he has settled perfectly in the center and has been guarding the offensive end of the court.
