LeBron James has always been more than an athlete. The King not only cares about what happens on the court but also off the court. In fact, he is one of the biggest names that has always been there for his community.
Despite that, recently Soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic called out LBJ and told him to stay what he is good at. Following those comments, it was only a matter of time before James responded. Tonight, the Lakers took on the Portland Trail Blazers.
The purple and gold finally put an end to their four-game losing streak. LBJ was sensational as always, finishing the game with 28 points while playing 36 minutes.
LeBron James’ response to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recent comments
After the stunning victory, LBJ took time and replied to Ibra in the post-game conference. LBJ said:
“It’s funny he’d say that because I believe in 2018 he was the same guy who said, when he was back in Sweden, talking about the same things, because his last name wasn’t a certain last name, that he felt like it was racism going on when he was out on the pitch. Right? He did say that, right? I thought he said that. I speak from a very educated mind. I’m kinda the wrong guy to actually go at, because I do my homework.”
Knowing Zlatan, he will come up with his own witty response to LBJ’s comments. At the end of the day, the two stars are still on top of their games, despite aging. Hopefully, the two can put this little feud aside and shift their focus to their respective sports.
