Dennis Schroder and Kyrie Irving were issued ejections moments after they had an altercation on the court on Saturday night. Even after they were asked to leave the court, the two keep having words with the officials.

The ejections did not affect the Lakers as they cruised to a victory against the Nets. However, Dennis Schroder was not happy about the fact that he had to leave the game. In the post-game press conference, he apologized to his teammates and everyone who supports the LA outfit.

He said, “We were just competing out there for the win. I think it was very unnecessary. Unfortunately, I left my team out there by themselves. I don’t even know what I did. However, I apologize for that.”

In the post-game press conference, Drummond talked about how he was happy with today’s performance. He said, “I learned a lot from today’s game, that we have a lot of guys in this locker room that are very tough. Despite who’s on the other side of the court, they’re going to come out and play.”

The Los Angeles Lakers are fifth in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are well in contention for the playoff spots. Moreover, with LeBron and AD set to return in a month, coach Frank Vogel will be happy with his position.
