Hornet’s Terry Rozier Absorbs His “Huge” Win Against Portland Blazers, After His 4 Terrible Losses in the Past

LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier

The Charlotte Hornets have been one of the most surprising teams this season. Despite missing stars like Gordon Hayward and LaMelo Ball for long stretches of games, the team has remained competitive thanks to the performances of players like Terry Rozier and Miles Bridges.

However, the team recently saw a massive dip in form as they lost four games in a row. With the East getting much more competitive, the Hornets knew they had to break the slump. Going up against a Western Conference juggernaut in the Trail Blazers, the Hornets did not disappoint.

Terry Rozier put on an absolute show as he scored a game-high 34 points along with 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Players like Miles Bridges and PJ Washington also stepped up, adding 19 and 23 points, respectively. In the post-game press conference, ‘Scary Terry’ spoke about how important the Blazers’ win was for the team.

“It was definitely huge especially after losing the last four so uh you know we great to walk away with this win we feel great about it and I was on to the next one uh we got we got a big game coming up in New York so we are just happy to be on the winning.”

The Hornets are entering the business end of the season right now. While stars like LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward are yet to join the team anytime soon, players like Terry Rozier and Miles Bridges have to step up for the team.

The Hornets are one exciting team to watch right now. It will be intriguing to see whether they can finally find some form and make it to the playoffs.
