“Health is Wealth” LeBron James feels Health is the key to ramp up as Anthony Davis is Injured

Frank Vogel hailed LeBron James as the greatest player of all time

Playing in the NBA results in a lot of wear and tear on an athlete’s body. The effect must be even more on a player like LeBron James who has spent nearly two decades in the NBA. Despite that, James has always made it his priority to keep himself in top shape and help his team win crucial games.

In this season, the LA Lakers need a little more effort from James as his partner in crime, Anthony Davis, has been injured for over a month now. Nonetheless, the King has been giving his 110% until AD returns to the team.

Tonight, against the Charlotte Hornets, LBJ scored 37 points and helped his team clinch their fourth straight victory. In the post-game interview, James explained how he has been playing at an elite level even without Davis by his side. He said:

Health is the most important for us. Health and we want to continue just to build habits, championships habits as we’ve been doing after the break. When we’re healthy we know what we are capable of so health is wealth.”

Can LeBron James help the Lakers to win back-to-back championships?

Performing in the regular season is important, but eventually, winning the glorious Larry O’Brien trophy is what matters the most. The purple and gold achieved that last season, but repeating the same level of success might be a little difficult.

Although the Lakers have improved their roster, many teams around the league have also upgraded theirs. Therefore, they might become the thorns in their path to clinch two consecutive NBA Championships.

Moreover, without AD in the lineup the task will only become tougher for the 17 time NBA champions. Do you think the team will be at their 100% strength come playoff time? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
