Pau Gasol

The future of two-time NBA champion Pau Gasol has been one of the biggest discussion topics around the league. While many believed that Gasol would hang his sneakers. Some sections of the crowd were quite positive that Gasol will return to the NBA.

But when asked about his future recently, Pau Gasol denied any claims about signing with a team. To everyone’s surprise, Gasol has signed with a team. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Gasol will be returning back to Spain and will play for FC Barcelona.

With Gasol returning to Europe, it might break a few hearts in the league. Especially for the Los Angeles Lakers fans, who were expecting him to return for one last season. Additionally, ever since the passing of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, Gasol has taken care of the Bryant family like his own.

This added an additional emotion for fans expecting him to return to the Lakers. Him being 40-years-old is no good news for fans either.
