Expert NBA Analyst Announces “Steph Curry Is in the Conversation but Can’t Put Him Above KD, Harden, and Lillard

Stephen Curry

Steph Curry is arguably in the best form of his NBA career. In the last 10 games, he has put in stupendous performances and led his side from the front. Coaches and teammates are in awe of the quality he has produced over this season.

Right when his team needs him the most, Chef Curry has got cooking. While the Warriors struggle towards getting a playoff berth, the 33-year-old pushes the team on with uplifting words and performances to back it up. Some critics and analysts are still not convinced of the greatness of the baby-faced assassin.

In a recent post-game show, Max Kellerman talked about how there are better offensive players in the league than Steph Curry. He picked up players like Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Damian Lillard over him and explained his reasoning.

He said, “When KD and Curry played together, KD was the best offensive player on the team. The Warriors ran their offense through Durant. So I gotta put him above Steph.”

He continued, “The second guy is James Harden. He can do some things that Steph can’t do and he has shown this season that he can conduct an offense. Steph cannot conduct an offense as we saw in game seven of the 2019 Finals. This is why I have to put these guys over Curry when it comes to offensive duties. ”

Kellerman even praised Damian Lillard and called him “the most clutch player in the NBA”.

It has to be said that all the players mentioned above are in a better position in the league. However, the way Stephen Curry has single-handedly taken the Warriors within touching distance of a playoff berth cannot be ignored.

This season, Curry does not have a super team around him. All of the noteworthy players in the Dubs side have either left or are sidelined due to injury. In these trying times, Steph has stepped up to the plate and delivered when it matters the most.

The Golden State Warriors are ninth in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are not in contention for the playoff spots. However, coach Kerr will be confident about performing well in the remaining games and securing a spot for his side in the postseason.
