Warriors star Draymond Green and Boston Celtics rising star Jayson Tatum has appeared in a funny Subway commercial, where Green has engaged in some friendly trash talk with Tatum.

However, Green is known for his trash talk in his real life as well as in the league, and the commercial perfectly suited his character. In the commercial, Tatum, and Green each have their own sandwich in their hand. Tatum says first that, “his sandwich will help you put points on the board.” In the next frame, Green comes and says, “my sandwich has more rings.” In the next part, Tatum punched back that, “At least my sandwich has bacon.”

Subway used them to promote the two different sandwiches. Tatum’s sandwich offered the classic sandwich, while Green’s sandwich offered more of a tantalizing fan-favorite.

After the commercial went on air, both players have been praised everywhere. ESPN interviewed Draymond Green about his recent performance and the Subway commercial.

Now that Subway named a sub after Draymond. So, the interview wanted to know the story. “Draymond sub I want to hear about it,” the interviewer asked.

“uh it’s provolone and it’s it’s southwest chipotle soft you know so ivan i i love to sub it’s great um you know and then you know there’s kind of been this this battle,” Green said.

However, Subway also launched Jayson, which differs from Green’s one. So, the interviewer asked about the difference. “with jason sub as we see here on the screen which i I quite frankly think is ridiculous like his sub doesn’t compare and personally you know jason sub as he wanted to make known has bacon,” Green said. “I don’t eat bacon i don’t eat pork so uh anybody who’s eating jason sub they can have it but you know yself the best and you know however and whoever wants to share their favorite sub it could eat,” he continued.
