Trail Blazer’s Point Guard, Damian Lillard.

Being in the NBA is a dream of millions of athletes all around the globe. But only the best of the best have what it takes to play in the most competitive basketball league in the world. Lillard certainly fills in that category, at least by looking at his game now.

However, it was not an easy road for the 30-year-old. During his time in the high school, he was not a top prospect, but since entering the league that narrative has completely vanished. In an interview, Lillard pointed out what has helped him to gain that level of skill set. He said:

Even though I’ve got a family, I’ve got all these commercials and these endorsements, I don’t forget the thing that makes all of those things possible which is the hard work…”

Once a player earns the tag of a superstar in the league, the endorsements and money will follow him. But all that becomes possible only when a player is willing to work hard and give everything they have to achieve their goal. Dame has definitely done that and as a result, he is enjoying the fame and success which was the result of his hard work.
