The Washington Wizards won an intense game over the New Orleans Pelicans over time by 117-115. Wizards star Bradley Beal thinks the team’s collective effort brought them the victory last night.

Despite the Wizards’ tough season start, last night’s win helped their playoff hopes to stay alive. Russell Westbrook’s 36 points, along with Beal’s 30 points, further helped the team tie after round four.

Daniel Gafford was the hero of the game who scored 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Moreover, he blocked four shots and most of them in crucial moments, especially when the Pelicans were leading by eight points late in the game.

All the team players showed their capability, which proved them a developed team. “You know that just shows our growth and maturity,” Beal conveyed in the post-game interview.

Further, Beal credited the whole team for last night’s win. He said, “A special team like they’re on the same boat that we’re in, and you know we just we just wheeled ourselves we willed ourselves to a victory tonight.”

Bradley Beal drops 30 in OT win

After Russel Westbrook, Bradley Beal was phenomenal last night. He led the team with 30 points and added four rebounds and six assists.

Nevertheless, Beal’s outstanding shooting from beyond the arc helped the Wizards to go 4-of-27 from three as a team. Although Beal played 42 minutes, his 30 points were not his best performance; this is a steady performance as he has been scoring more than 30 points in all games.

The 27-year-old is a combination of athleticism and skill. Beal has reached another level as a scorer for the last three seasons. No matter the situation, he has always lifted the team when needed and given the Wizards what they needed on the offensive court.
