Anthony Davis Assures Fans of Returning to the AD They Once Knew

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers finally broke their three-game losing streak with a victory against the Orlando Magic. It was a terrific performance from the team in purple as they rallied together in the final quarter to secure a win.

Anthony Davis looked a bit surer in his movement in this game, and it immediately had a positive effect. The Lakers had missed their prime big man in these trying circumstances over the course of two months. However, AD is back has started to lead his side in the best possible manner.

In the post-game press conference, Davis talked about how he feels that there is still a long way to go when it comes to achieving perfect form. He said, “I felt great in this game. I was able to find my rhythm a little bit. There were still a couple of shots that I felt I could make, but I was glad to see many go through the rim tonight.”

He continued, “It is always a good sign. I’m really happy that I was able to make shots and get the win. Our next game is also a tough one so we got to stay motivated. I was able to get my rhythm back a little but it’s still not the AD that I want to be. I’m pretty sure that the fans have seen a better AD. It will come with time.”

Anthony Davis was the star of the show in the final quarter. He was the one who made difficult shots to take the game away from Magic. The 27-year-old finished with 18 points to his name. Moreover, he also racked up eight rebounds and three assists for his team.

Apart from him, Dennis Schroder was very influential in securing the win. He scored 21 points along with 10 assists during the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers are fifth in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they look well on course for the playoffs. Another bright side for Vogel’s side is the return of King James in a few days. Once that is in order, the team will hopefully function better than a Russian tank.
