Andre Drummond and the Los Angeles Lakers got back to winning ways against the high-flying Utah Jazz on Saturday night. However, the severely under-manned Lakers side had to come back just before the final buzzer to push the game to overtime.

With the stalwarts like LeBron and AD out due to injury, the responsibility fell on the shoulders of Dennis Schroder and Drummond. They delivered to the best of their abilities and managed to secure an invaluable victory even after it went to overtime.

In the post-game press conference, Andre Drummond talked about his nickname and how he plans on changing it. He said, “I figured it out game by game. The last time I talked I said that I was still trying to figure it out. I’m having so much fun doing it too. This is just a great team.”

He continued, “Whatever nickname you guys give me, I’ll enjoy it. I’ve usually been called Drum so I’ll prefer it. I’m fine with Big Penguin if that’s what you wanna call me. It is what it is, doesn’t really matter to me.”

Andre Drummond and Schroder lead the team towards a much-needed victory

It was a stellar show from the players on both ends of the court as they marched along towards the victory. Even during overtime, the team stuck together and fought through.
