“It’s Gonna Be a Solid Year for Him” Eduardo Perez Predicts Aaron Judge To Be the American League MVP

Aaron Judge

The MLB spring training season is underway at the moment. Every team is using these games to work out different playing combinations and various strategies. Although opening day is not that far away, many teams still are not quite sure about their starting lineups.

The New York Yankees are a side that have a lengthy history in the MLB. Hence, their team is as strong as ever when it comes to all-round performers. The roster is filled with players who can win them games on their individual performances. In fact, it will be a pleasant headache for manager Aaron Boone to pick out his squad for each match.

One of the guaranteed match-winners in the side is outfielder Aaron Judge. After a dismal last season, he has returned with sublime form and is raring to go. TV analyst Eduardo Perez even rates him as the American League MVP candidate.

In a chat with ESPN on the players who can win the American and National League MVP awards this season, Perez talked about the chances of Judge. He said, “In the American League, I’m going with Aaron Judge. It is going to be a solid year for him. He is finally healthy and fit to perform exceptionally well.”

He continued, “Everybody’s looking at the pitching of the Yankees, Gerrit Cole and all that. However, I think that Aaron Judge is gonna come in and he’s gonna be a complete player this year.”

Aaron Judge recovers in time for opening day

Judge has missed the last two spring training games for the Yankees. This raised questions in the media about his illness. However, Yankees GM Brian Cashman confirmed that Aaron Judge was only under the weather and it was nothing serious.
