Mike Tyson backed Floyd Mayweather to “beat up” Jake Paul as he gave his verdict on the escalating tensions between the pair.

Mayweather is due to fight Logan Paul next month. He came face to face with the American’s younger brother, Jake while promoting the bout on Thursday. It’s a well-known fact that the boxing world hates the Paul brothers.

In his recent podcast, Mike talked about why he thinks this is the case.

He said, “Boxers get angry because the real champions don’t even have that many views. They’re happy if they have a million views. These guys (The Paul Brothers) have 80 million views.”

“That’s why everybody wants to kill ‘em because they see this little white guy, blonde-haired, blue-eyed making all this fucking money, talking all this shit. Everybody wants to kill ‘em.”

“I get envious when I see these guys do it. (I’m like) what the fuck are they doing? That’s why you wanna kick his ass. You get envious of him. It’s easy to hate those guys.”

Tyson and Jake fought on the same card in November last year as Iron Mike made a return to the ring to face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition heavyweight fight.

The bout between the two former champions ended in a draw, while Jake knocked out former NBA star Nate Robinson in the second round.

On being asked whether he will ever take on any of the brothers in a fight.

Mike said, “No, I like those guys, no. I love those guys.”

Jake has since claimed another victory, beating former UFC welterweight Ben Askren in the first round of their fight last month.
