Maverick Vinales finishes third in the 2019 MotoGP standings. Monster Energy Yamaha racer claimed to be quite satisfied with these results because the target was achieved. Vinales, who finished sixth in the final race at the Valencia GP, managed to rank third in the 2019 MotoGP final standings.
He also admitted that it was the best result he could achieve. “My main goal is to try to be the best three in the MotoGP Championship. We also managed to do it, we forgot about the podium position and even won it.” Vinales was quoted as saying Crash.net.
Vinales is third with 211 points. Valentino Rossi’s teammate lost to Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) who finished second with 269 points, and Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) who had already confirmed the title.
