The incident began when Petrucci who tried to improve his position lost balance when conquering the second corner. The Ducati manufacturer racer was knocked out of the motorcycle and his body hit the motorbike driven by Quartararo.

Turning to the race, Rossi lost his pole position after Cal Crutchlow overtook him. After five laps of running, The Doctor was thrown to number five or right behind teammate Maverick Vinales.

On the next lap, position changes continue to occur. The interesting drama was seen when Vinales overtook two riders in front of him namely Marquez and Crutchlow to lead the race.

For the remaining 15 laps, Marquez continued to follow Vinales’ speed. The fight between the two racers is getting more interesting in the remaining five laps, especially when the rain starts to flush the Phillip Island Circuit.

While in each paddock, several crew were busy to prepare a replacement motorcycle that had been wrapped with wet tires. But both of them chose not to stop by the garage.

On the last lap, Marquez successfully took over the race. Damn, when Vinales tried to catch up to Alien Baby’s motorbike speed, he just fell.

Marquez finally emerged as the winner followed by Cal Crutchlow. The third position is occupied by Jack Miller.
