Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez crashes while driving in the second free practice session of the Aragon MotoGP. Nevertheless, he continued the session.
Performing at the Aragon Circuit, Friday (09/20/2019) night WIB, Marquez fell when he entered to the eight position. The Honda RC213V driven by Marquez lost balance when maneuvering a bend and entering the sand area on the outside of the track.
Marquez’s streak did not mean injury due to the accident. There has been no official statement from Honda, but in the video released by MotoGP, the racer nicknamed The Alien Baby was able to stand and walk.
When this news was revealed, the second free practice session was still ongoing. Marquez’s best record is 1 minute 48,204 seconds, 0.2 seconds slower than the first practice session (1 minute 46,869 seconds).
