“Luke Shaw Is Becoming a Man!” Expresses United Boss Praising His Form

Soccer- Luke Shaw

Since his arrival at Manchester United, Luke Shaw showed several glimpses of his abilities but never really justified it. The big reason behind this is his injuries. Shaw signed for Manchester United in 2014 for 30 million Euros and thus United invested a lot in the defender. Its better late than never as Shaw is finally paying them back.

Shaw is probably the first name on the team sheet because of his current form. United bought Alex Telles before the start of the season to strengthen their left-back position but Shaw’s hardly giving him any space.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also appreciated the 25-year-old saying that he has changed and become more mature. “He goes forward, he trusts himself. He became a dad, it does a lot to many. I think Luke has matured in the last two and a half years. I love to see his development. He’s now 25, he’s becoming a man. He’s one of the experienced boys in our team”.

The buzz surrounding Luke Shaw

After scoring the goal against Manchester City, Shaw roused unrest on social media. After that, he put a man-of-the-match-worthy performance against West Ham United in the Premier League, and thus the reason was even more obvious.

Creswell, West Ham’s star defender also appreciated Shaw in the post-match. “He had a bad injury and he had a tough time under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, but this year you could arguably say he has been the best left-back in the Premier League.”

Luke Shaw has 7 clean sheets in his last 11 appearances and had more than 90% passing accuracy against West Ham. Former Manchester United player and a legend of the game, Gary Neville already declared Shaw to be the “best left-back of the country (England)”.

If he keeps this momentum till of the end of the season, then he can actually feature in the first XI in the England team when they play in Euro Cup. However, for that role, Shaw expects to face a tough challenge from Ben Chilwell.
