Logan Paul Explains Why He Has ‘Nothing To Lose’ in Floyd Mayweather Fight

Logan Paul is due to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing exhibition bout on June 6. The last time Mayweather put on an ‘exhibition’ he took it pretty seriously, blasting through Japanese kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa and knocking him out in the first round.

We have no idea how serious this affair will be. However, if Mayweather’s rants that he wants to kill the Paul brothers can be believed. We might see Mayweather again eschew from the friendly spirit that usually comes with an exhibition.

Logan Paul said, “This fight means so much to my fans, to my family, to everyone watching who thought they couldn’t do something in life. That’s the energy I’m going in with. I have nothing to lose.”

“Literally, I have nothing to lose. So when you have a guy coming into the ring with that energy? And a guy who has everything to lose? As a grandad? I’m nervous for him!.”

Recently, Logan Paul attempted to show off his prowess (and propensity for violence) in the boxing ring. He posted a video to his wildly popular YouTube channel showing him destroy a group of rank amateurs.

Mayweather talked about his opponent.

He said, “He has a huge following. Big guy, strong guy. This is fun, it’s entertaining. It’s all about entertainment. On social media, he entertains people.”

Who knows whether any of this will translate to Paul being able to give Mayweather much of a challenge.

The undercard to Mayweather vs Paul will feature the boxing debut of former NFL player Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson Jarrett Hurd will face Luis Arias while Badou Jack will lock horns with Jean Pascal in a rematch.
